The right product for the right material:

Our know-how as a
wax care product manufacturer

Protecting materials, means making what matters last

Integrated into our Group since the acquisition of Manufacture France Produits d’Entretien (MFPE), our expertise in care products is built on wax in all its forms: animal, plant-based and mineral. For the care of leather as well as wood, it is our guiding thread: strengthening material protection, preserving their appearance, limiting wear and extending their life over the long term. Waxes, balms, polishes, restorers and oils are formulated to meet care and finishing needs: reviving shine, reducing stains and providing long-lasting protection for all premium surfaces.

Recognised as a manufacturer of waxes and balms for leather and wood, MFPE has developed the ability to adapt to other substrates: metals, cast iron, bodywork or technical textiles—our formulations adapt to the specific constraints of each material.

Our strength lies in complete industrial control, from formulation to packaging. We have rare know-how: hot pouring, which consists of packaging waxes and balms while still liquid, at high temperature, directly into their packaging. This technique ensures perfect homogenisation of raw materials and consistent quality from one batch to the next.

In a market often driven by craftsmanship, we assert a distinctive position: that of an agile industrial manufacturer, where our responsiveness and adaptability make the difference!

Leather and wood: two application areas, the same protection standards

Our care solutions cover two key materials: leather and wood. In both areas, we pursue the same standard: stable, easy-to-use products that provide long-lasting protection and deliver the expected finish (shine, stain resistance, etc.). As a manufacturer of waxes and balms for leather and wood, we develop formulas designed to nourish, protect, waterproof and keep these materials performing over time.

Leather care and protection

Leather is a living material: it develops a patina, it softens, but it also wears if it is not properly maintained. Developing leather care ranges is part of our know-how, with formulas for every need. To meet the various care and material-protection requirements, we formulate a wide range of wax-based products, including:

polishes • balms • creams • lotions • greases • soaps • oils • waterproofing agents

Our expertise also covers equestrian uses, with products specifically formulated for hoof, mane and leather tack care. Ointments, balms and protective treatments are developed to nourish the material, provide long-lasting protection against moisture, prevent drying out and preserve the natural appearance of hooves, whatever the conditions of use.
This know-how in material protection and care extends more broadly to leathers subject to regular use. Our formulations are therefore suited to multiple applications: shoes, bags, automotive upholstery, armchairs or leather equipment, with a constant objective: extending product lifespan and preserving the material’s original qualities.

Wood care and protection

Wood—whether raw, oiled or varnished, or exposed to outdoor conditions—is subject to daily wear: rubbing, micro-scratches, temperature or humidity variations. To meet these constraints, we develop wax- and oil-based care solutions, including:

waxes • varnished parquet waxes • restorers and revivers • varnishes • floor varnishes • saturators • pore fillers • wax shampoos • wood greying removers • oils • paste waxes

These products are designed to clean, polish, add shine, nourish and strengthen material protection, while maintaining the desired appearance and finish, whether tinted or colourless.

Wax care product manufacturer: we have complete industrial control, from formula to packaging

While our expertise is based on animal, plant-based or mineral wax, it stands out above all for our ability to control every stage of product development:

Formulation: ensuring product effectiveness above all

The quality of a care product depends on the overall balance of its formulation. It determines effectiveness, texture, hold, final finish, shine, ease of application and drying time for a wax, balm, polish or oil.

To achieve this, MFPE relies on its own formulation, research, testing and control laboratories, where our Research & Development teams work to optimise formulas. This work includes active regulatory monitoring, the search for substitutes for controversial materials, and constant attention to changes in market expectations and usage.

This work enables you to be assured of the stability and consistency of all our solutions, to obtain reliable, effective and durable products for both leather and wood.

Hot pouring: rare expertise in wax-based products

Hot pouring is one of MFPE’s technical signatures. The wax is gravity-filled while still liquid, at high temperature, to achieve a perfectly homogeneous texture and a consistent appearance.

This process is based on industrial know-how developed and mastered by our teams, absolutely unique in Europe for wax-based products. It is particularly decisive for the final quality of waxes, balms or polishes: visual consistency, raw-material homogeneity, etc.
